Protest before the Moroccan Consulate

Some 300 people gathered before the Moroccan Consulate on Thursday 11th December, in protest against the violence, repression and human rights violations perpetrated by the Moroccan occupying forces last Monday, as they dismantled the Gadaym Izik camp, near El Aai˙n, in Western Sahara.

Edgardo Pérez Aguirre represented Convergence of Cultures in the Second Symposium of the World Centre of Humanist Studies, entitled "Foundation of the New Civilization", by discussing culture in the session "Intangible Socio-Historical Elements that Shape Society."

Milan - 9 immigrant at Imbonati Via tower

Convergence of Cultures in Milan supported the protest by immigrants from Brescia and Milan

Nine immigrants have gone up the Tower "Carlo Erba" in Imbonati Street, corner of Bovio Street, in Milan. The reason was to support immigrants that in Brescia, last Saturday, climbed a crane at the subway works in Brescia, to protest against the lack of regularization of the immigrants who were in Italy when the "Pacchetto sicurezza" transformed the situation of "irregular" (without papers) to "crime of hiding."

The team "Futura" Convergence of Cultures were last Sunday, October 24, in the "Day of the Migrant" that organized the city hall of Barcelona. We spread the campaign "Thousands of faces toward the Universal Human Nation."

Multicultural dinners in Prague to support the Czech Park of Study and reflection

During the past two months, some members of Convergence of Cultures in Prague have organized several Multicultural dinners at home to invite friends and adherents to support financially the Park of Study and Reflection. Every time someone from the given culture (we had evenings dedicated to Georgia, Italy, Russia…etc.) has cooked a meal special from the country and the whole evening was dedicated to the theme of the School and Parks (talks, videos…etc.).
