To a forum at Egypt

Jose Muñoz (from Convergence of Cultures) and Nacho Martinez (from the International Humanist Party) summarize their journey to Egypt in April with the intention to propose a forum to help launching the Humanist Movement in Egypt.

Literary contest "Dialogue between Cultures”

The team called “FUTURA” announces a literary contest in La Marina neighborhood in Barcelona (Spain). The prizes which are donated by the businesses of the neighborhood will be given in the neighborhood main festival at the end of June.

Refugees Locked in Libya: A Call for Humanitarian Evacuation

Convergence of Cultures joins the Italian associations that appertain to the Asylum Table in an emergency call for the immediate evacuation of the refugees from the Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly the Horn of Africa, which are locked in Libya and threatened by every single part in conflict. This measure should reach as well those who already made it to the frontier with Tunisia and have no hope of getting effective protection there.

About the annual fee

What is it?

It’s the annual fee that all full members of the organism pay as it was defined in the document of the “Organization of Convergence of Cultures”.

How much to pay?

The same amount was established for each country last year. If there is a country for that no amount has been established yet or if the members of a country would like to review it, it is possible to present a proposal to the world team.

When to pay?

Between June 1-16, 2011

How will the fees be distributed?

50% of the fees stay with the base team or in the group-in-formation. The other 50% will be distributed in the following proportion: 25% to the world team and 25% to the national team.
