After a year of unanswered complaints, the “carache” (leader) of Navogoh Napocna Potae Community (Spring) renewed their complaints in the same place where they camped with his brothers and sisters for months.

Convergence of Cultures was present in the press conference, and gave their accession to the media.

“From the international coordination team, Convergence of Cultures joints to this press conference convened by Navogoh Napocna Potae Community (spring).”

Since the repression faced by this community for a year, our organization actively accompanies locally and internationally.

In addition of participating in the camp in the centre of Buenos Aires and other subsequence actions, our members in several countries have claimed to the provincial and national departments, the governor of Formosa and the Lady President’s Office, for an effective solution for this conflict. Some responded with evasive, others with silence.

Today we reiterate our support for the qom brothers and sisters, and invite to the media in our countries to know and share the plight that still suffer from this and other indigenous people in Argentina.

For the International Coordination of Convergence of Cultures: Mercè Duch, Spain. Gaspare Tarará, Italy. François Giorgi, France. Alicia Blanco, Argentina"
