On Saturday 26th February 2011, for the first time at Guinea was celebrated the Interethnic Forum with the theme “A Guinea without ethics”, organized by the humanist association “Convergence of Cultures” at the institute INRAP University Gamal Abdel Nasser of Conakry.

This Forum at Guinea Republic was really successful because 150 people from intellectual circles, like Jean Marie Dore (First Minister of the transition), Mandjou Sow (President of OGDH: Guinea Organization of Human Rights), the President of traditional communicators, representatives of political parties, delegates from regional coordination, journalists and young people of some associations.

No one hide the satisfaction with the theme, especially in this post-election period, where the social tissue is more vulnerable.

The Forum topics were based in four themes:
- - The ethnocentrism in politics
- The ethnocentrism in administration
- Ethnic and religion at Guinea
- The regionalism

Discussed and proposed solutions to different problems. The compilation of all these work allow to create a document with which have political and administrative authorities.

Media coverage was provided by national radio television RTG in complicity with local private radios.

The appearance of communication medias allow that the theme of the Forum arrived to a significant number of people that without doubts congratulates and encourage “Convergence of Cultures” of Guinea for their initiative.

At the time they expressed the desire to join the project, some listeners’ desire that these activities continue to the national development and union.

Thanks to all that contribute to the success of this forum. “Together we can”.
