26th June 2011. Barcelona. Spain. The team “Futura” celebrated yesterday its forth Inter-Cultural Dialogue Gathering alongside with the main festival in the district Marina. Among other activities that took place was the awards ceremony for the local story writing competition, organised in the district.

Sunday the 26th the team “Futura” celebrated the IV Gathering for the Contact Among Cultures in its local in Marina - Barcelona.

The main activity was the first Story Writing Competition awards day. The competition theme was a choice between “life in the district” and “encounter between cultures”. The neighbours were the main protagonist of the competition. Several local businesses donated prizes for the winners. As well as the prize awarded by the judges there was a second one selected by the people present at the event.

Other highlights were the painting of a mural called “The Tree of Wishes”, a photographic competition about Afghanistan and a lesson in African dance.
