Greetings
Hi Visiteur:
Here’s a new newsletter with a selectionof news and activities that have been updated in our web.
One of the last year’s highlights is the rise of social movements in many places around the globe. These movements took place amongst different cultures and societies, different names and expressions (The Arab Spring, The Outraged, 15M, the Occupy movement, the Chilean student protests, and so on) but all sharing a common language: uprising against all injustice, violence and lack of liberty. It’s a fight against inequality, a struggle to restore the Human Being as the central value in the society.
Many humanists at Convergence of Cultures have strongly supported these demonstrations, for we feel that underneath lays the arousal of a new culture, one truly universal andmeaningful: the nonviolence culture. Others among us keep on working on conflicts that might seem less “global” but with the same hopes and direction.
And to do just so, to reflect diversity and convergence in all what we do remember you can send your news, photos, video and the like to info@convergenceofcultures.org. In that way we can share achievements and experiences with all the members andsupporters of Convergence of Cultures.
Greetings from the World Team.
